LUCKY

Song: Jaan Meri Jaa Rahi Sanam
Movie: "Lucky- No Time For Love"

"Jaan Meri Jaa Rahi Sanam"
Aa ke bharloo bazuon mein,
Tumko hai kasam.
Jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.
Jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.

Come and hold me in your arms,
I implore you.
I am dying, my love.
I am dying, my love.

Aa ki bharloo bazuon mein,
Tumko hai kasam,
Jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.
Hoo jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.

Come and take me in your arms,
For my sake,
I am dying, my love.
I am dying, my love.

Aa ki bharloo bazuon mein,
Tumko hai kasam,
Jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.
Jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.

Come and take me in your arms,
For my sake,
I am dying, my love.
I am dying, my love.

Kya mohabbat hai,
Kya nazaara hai.
Kal talak ye dil tha mera,
Ab tumhara hai.

Love is amazing,
Wonderful things, my eyes behold.
Until yesterday, my heart was mine,
Now it belongs to you.

Kya tamanna hai,
Kya ishara hai,
Hamne to pal pal tadap ke,
Pal guzaara hai,
Ho hamne to pal pal tadap ke,
Pal guzaara hai.

An unusual desire,
An unusual sign,
I have spent every moment,
Suffering in pain.

Dekho dekho na,
Ab karo na mujhpe yu sitam.
Jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.
Hoo jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.

Look, look,
Don't torment me anymore.
I am dying my love.
I am dying, my love.

Aa ki bharloo bazuon mein,
Tumko hai kasam,
Jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.
Jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.

Come and hold me in your arms,
I implore you,
I am dying, my love.
I am dying, my love.

Kya ladakpan hai,
Kya jawaani hai,
Ab tumhare naam saari zindagani hai.

Alluring innocence,
Amazing intoxication,
To you, I now give my life.

Kya haqeeqat hai,
Kya kahaani hai,
Saamne mere, mere sapno ki rani hai.
Hoo saamne mere, mere sapno ki rani hai.

Amazing reality,
What a story,
Beside me stands the princess of my dreams.
Beside me stands the princess of my dreams.

Ab saha na,
Ab saha na jaaye mujhse,
Doori ka ye gham,
Jaan meri jaa rahi sanam,
Hoo jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.

No more,
No more can I bear,
This grief of separation,
I am dying, my love.

Aa ki bharloo bazuon mein,
Tumko hai kasam,
Jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.
Jaan meri jaa rahi sanam.

Come and hold me in your arms,
I implore you,
I am dying, my love.
I am dying, my love

Raksha Bandhan, literally translated as Protective Bond, is celebrated by Hindus all around the world. The ritual of a sister tying a rakhi (amulet) around her brother's wrist still holds significant value in today's modern family setting, as it is an emotional bonding between the siblings.
In ancient times, a woman would tie a rakhi on her husband's wrist to ward off any evil. Gradually, it shifted to an exchange between a brother and sister and a way to protect a brother from danger.
Today, tying a rakhi is not confined to brothers and sisters. It can reflect feelings of a sibling's love and loyalty, even if there is no blood relation involved. Humanitarian rituals like girls visiting orphanages and prisons to present rakhis to the orphans and inmates create a feeling of hope to those less fortunate.
In the end, Raksha Bandhan appeals to the deepest feelings of love and tries to bring awareness for each person to respect and appreciate our siblings.
Happy Raksha Bandhan to all our brothers and brotherly friends!

"Bhaiyya Mere"
Bhaiyya mere, raakhi ke bandhan ko nibhana
Bhaiyya mere, chhoti behen ko na bhulana
Dekho yeh naata nibhana, nibhana
Bhaiyaa mere...

O my brother, honor the bond of this Rakhi
O my brother, do not forget your little sister
O my brother, cherish our relationship and love forever.

Yeh din yeh tyohaar khushi ka,
Paavan jaise neer nadi ka
Bhai ke ujle maathe pe,
Behen lagaayeh mangal tika
Jhoomein yeh saavan suhana, suhana
Bhaiyya mere ...

This festival of joy is
As pure as the stream of the river
And on your radiant forehead
I apply this auspicious teeka
And the lovely monsoon seems to echo our celebrations

Baandh ke humne resham dori,
Tum se woh umeed hai jodi
Naazuk hai jo kaanch ke jaisi,
Par jeevan bhar jaaye na todi
Jaane yeh sara zamana, zamana

Let the world know then
That by tying this silken thread
That is as fragile as glass
Yet strong enough to remain unbroken for life,
I have reposed my faith in you
That you will always be there for me.

Bhaiyya mere ...

O my brother, honor the bond of this Rakhi
Do not forget this little sister
And cherish our relationship and love forever.

Shaayad woh saawan bhi aaye,
Jo behna ka rang na laaye
Behen paraye desh basi ho,
Agar woh tum tak pahunch na paayeh
Yaad ka deepak jalaanaa, jalaanaa

Maybe that season will come
When I cannot be with you on this day
Settled somewhere in a faraway land
If this sister cannot reach you
Remember me - your little sister.

Bhaiyya mere, raakhi ke bandhan ko nibhana
Bhaiyya mere, chhoti behen ko na bhulana
Dekho yeh naata nibhana, nibhana
Bhaiyya mere...

O my brother, honor the bond of this Rakhi
Do not forget me - your little sister
And our bond and love remain forever.
